Four Human Intelligences: A Holistic Approach to Education at the 9th ICER
Dr. Muhammad Safdar presents the 'Four Human Intelligences' model at the 9th International Conference on Research & Practices in Education, emphasizing IQ, EQ, PQ, and SQ over traditional rote learning.

The 9th International Conference on Research & Practices in Education, held from September 21-22, 2025, at Allama Iqbal Open University in Islamabad, Pakistan, featured a pivotal session on "Best Practices in Education." The session highlighted the urgent need to move beyond traditional academic metrics and focus on the holistic development of students.
Keynote speaker Dr. Muhammad Safdar, Founder of the "Four Human Intelligences" framework and Principal of Scholars School, addressed the audience on the critical need for educational reform. He emphasized that schools must not only focus on academic achievements but also prioritize the comprehensive development of a child's personality, intellect, and character.
During his presentation, Dr. Safdar introduced the "Teaching Model" based on the Four Human Intelligences:
IQ (Intelligence Quotient): Cognitive and analytical abilities.
EQ (Emotional Quotient): Emotional awareness and management.
PQ (Physical Quotient): Physical health and well-being.
SQ (Spiritual Quotient): Moral and ethical grounding.
Dr. Safdar noted that the current education system often places excessive pressure on students regarding grades and certificates, causing them to lose sight of their true potential. He argued that if schools fail to identify and nurture a child's innate abilities through these four dimensions, the true purpose of education is lost.
The conference brought together academics, researchers, and educators to discuss innovative practices, with Dr. Safdar's session serving as a strong call to action for integrating holistic human development into modern curricula.
